I read the article about Moving away from Icebergs and found it quite interesting. The idea of having a "just in case" collection in case the borrowers might want to use it seems as though it is becoming outdated now with all the digital information available.
Circulation statistics are showing that customers are using the computers more for an information source rather than reading books for information. Rick Anderson says we need to shift direction to keep afloat. http://www.oclc.org/nextspace/002/2.htm
